  • Where is Summerfest taking place?

    Most Summerfest activities take place in Richard Walton Park. Some events are held elsewhere in the city, including:

    • Summerfest Medallion Hunt: Parks around Oakdale

    • Summerfest 5k Run: Oakdale Nature Preserve, 4444 Hadley Ave.

    • OACC Community Picnic: South Fire Station, 6633 15th St. N.

    • OACC Golf Tournament: Oak Marsh Golf Course, 526 Inwood Ave.

  • Is this a paid or ticketed event?

    Oakdale Summerfest is free and open to the public. Some events and activities include a registration fee o, wristband including the Summerfest 5k and the OACC Golf Tournament.

  • Where can I park?

    Attendees are welcome to park on any city street that allows parking, as well as the parking lot at City Hall, located at 1584 Hadley Avenue N. Please note: Access in AND out of the City Hall parking lot will be closed during the Ted Bearth Grande Parade (Thursday evening).

  • Where is the parade?

    The Ted Bearth Grande Parade begins at Transfiguration Church (6133 15th St.) and runs down 15th Street before turning north on Hadley Avenue and ending at City Hall (1584 Hadley Ave.) The Parade begins at 6 PM.

  • Is there food?

    Oh yes! There will be a number of food and beverage vendors in Walton Park throughout the event. To see a list of available vendors, CLICK HERE.

  • What happens if it rains?

    The event goes on rain or shine, but in the event of inclement weather, please keep an eye on the City of Oakdale’s Facebook page for more updates.
